For dance classes, wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. For pole classes, shorts and a tank top are recommended because exposed skin helps you grip the pole. Shoes are optional unless otherwise noted in the class description.

For pole classes, please avoid jewelry and do not apply lotion before class, as both can interfere with grip and may damage the poles. Check your class description in Mindbody for any class-specific recommendations.

Absolutely! Beginners are always welcome at Hard Candy Dance Studio. Many of our classes are designed for students with little or no previous dance experience. Check the class description for the recommended level, and don’t be afraid to try something new.

Classes require a minimum of 2 students. Pole classes accommodate up to 16 students, with 8 poles available. Non-pole classes may accommodate up to 25 students.

Not at all! Many Hard Candy Dance Studio classes require no previous dance experience. Our instructors will guide you through the movements and help you build confidence, technique and skills at your own pace. Check the class description for the recommended level before booking.

Yes. Pole sharing is common in group pole classes. Hard Candy Dance Studio has 8 poles and may accommodate up to 16 students in a pole class. Sharing gives dancers time to rest between movements, watch demonstrations and learn alongside other students.

Hard Candy Dance Studio has a no-refund policy. Class packages have expiration dates, which vary by package, so please review the terms of your specific package before purchasing. Memberships and class packages are non-transferable.

Hard Candy Dance Studio does not allow children or spectators during regular classes. Anyone attending a class must be registered, paid and participating.

Classes require a minimum of 2 people per class. Pole classes max out at 16 and non-pole classes max out from 25.. 

• • Treat instructors and fellow students with respect. Discriminatory, abusive, threatening or disruptive behavior is not permitted and may result in removal from class or the studio.
  • Street shoes are not permitted on the dance or pole room floors.
  • Alcohol is not permitted in the studio. Anyone who appears impaired may be asked to leave class for safety reasons.
  • Students who behave in a way that could cause injury to themselves or others may be removed from class.
  • Please limit phone use while an instructor is teaching.
  • Do not apply oils or lotions before pole class.

• • Classes may be canceled or rescheduled up to 6 hours before class begins.
  • Late cancellations and no-shows are subject to a $10 fee. Package holders may also lose the class from their package.
  • Class purchases are non-refundable.
  • We understand emergencies happen and will review exceptional circumstances when appropriate.
  • If Hard Candy Dance Studio cancels a class, registered students will receive a class credit or the appropriate class/pass credit will be restored.
  • If the studio must close for more than 24 hours due to weather, maintenance or another unexpected closure, affected monthly passes will be extended accordingly.

Filming is permitted only during the final 10 minutes of class, unless your instructor says otherwise. Recording instruction is not permitted. Only registered class participants may film.

Before posting photos or videos, please make sure you have permission from anyone visible in your content and credit Hard Candy Dance Studio and the choreographer when applicable.

The safety of our students and instructors comes first. Hard Candy Dance Studio may cancel classes when weather or road conditions make travel unsafe. Registered students will be notified directly by phone, voicemail and/or email.

Updates may also be posted on our social media channels. If a class is canceled by the studio, the appropriate class credit will be restored.
